My Favourite Sem 1 girls ♥ Tuesday, September 23, 2014 / 8:50 AM 
Hey guys! It's another post! How are you all doing? I'm fine, if you're asking about me. :)
So today, i met up with two of my favourite girls from my Year 1 Sem 1 class. In my school, we change class every semester and I am thankful that we are still together although we are in different class. It's been more than 4 months since the three of us get together. Long isn't it?! Cause when I was doing my internship, the two girls are doing their FYP in school. So, that explains why we didn't meet up due to our busy school schedules. Anyways, I met Nisha first at Pasir Ris MRT before we meet Natasha since Nisha lives at the same area as me. We train-ed from EW1 Pasir Ris to EW13 City Hall and change to Somerset to meet our dear Natasha. Along the journey to Somerset, me and Nisha talked about our school and internship stories. Now, i'm dreading to go back to school! Oh snap! Soon after, we reached Somerset.
We walked to Cathay Cineleisure to have our lunch at Eighteen Chefs. It was delicious. Well, i enjoyed the meal. :) We are able to choose pasta/bake rice, the base we want and also what ingredients we want to have in our meal! Thankfully, there's a student meal! We just need to flash our student card when ordering and it comes with drinks as well as a scoop of ice cream which is chocolate chips flavor. after eating, we went walking around in Cine before heading towards *SCAPE. Bought laptop stickers at the underground area. Wow, there are variety of stickers to choose from! I had a hard time choosing it, to be honest! :D
From *Scape, we walked to H&M and then to CentrePoint and head on to Marks & Spencers. Nisha bought her favourite cookie from there. Oh, while walking towards H&M, a Starbucks staff approach us with some sampling of Tiramisu. The taste suit my taste. I like it though. At CentrePoint, we went to my workplace where i was having intern. It has been about a month since i went back there and i was glad to talked to the staffs who are working there. After chatting, we went to Somerset 313. Wanted to try Llao Llao but the queue is way to long and we decided to settle with just KOI drink. I bought Hazelnut Milk Tea. Took lift to level 5 where Sky Terrace was and we started to drink KOI, chat and camwhore! Well, the photos below explains all! :)
After that, we head down to Uniqlo as Nat wanted to find her white clothes for internship. Then, we went to Victoria Secrets. The scent of perfume attracted us. There's a Mix & Match Perfume where you Buy 3 @ $49! It's worth it! If buy 1, it will cost you $24. So, the Mix & Match is like BUY 2 GET 1 FREE. Totally worth it but we didn't buy. We headed back home after that. I had a good time catching up with the girls today! I sincerely wish them all the best for their internship and I wish myself all the best for the upcoming semester. Hope everything goes well! :)
 Labels: day out with girls, fun, ladies River Safari with Family ♥ Saturday, September 20, 2014 / 7:47 AM  Went to River Safari with the family. big thanks to brother for the River Safari outing today, it was so much fun! :) left house around 8.15am. boarded bus 39 from our bus stop all the way to Khatib Station. it's a Saturday morning and i have no idea why the bus is so crowded that we need to stand throughout the 35 minutes bus ride. after we reached Khatib station, we took a cab to River Safari. waiting for a cab took a while though, not to mention that the weather is scorching hot at only 9am++. however, i am glad that it is hot, rather than raining, right? hahah. so we got a cab and i must say that we are lucky to get a friendly taxi driver. it was indeed a smooth journey to River Safari in his cab. thanks! :) upon entering River Safari, we were greeted with some staffs and were asked to take photos with 6 different kinds of poses, ranging from the panda paws, thumbs up, peace and family hug. hahah. all that cost money, if we would like to print out the photos. oh well... we didnt even look at the photo after we ended the whole trip! we walked thru all the rivers and took lots of photos of the different types of creatures available. on our way back home, we too bus 138 and alight half way to take bus 171 which ends at Yishun Inter and took another bus, which is bus 39 back home. :)

WED, 14 AUG 2014 ♥ Thursday, August 14, 2014 / 5:53 AM HEY GUYS! I AM FINALLY BACK AFTER A LONG HIATUS! SORRY FOR THAT. BEEN BUSY WITH INTERNSHIP! :) NOW IM FREE UNTIL SEPT-OCT. :) few weeks back, my best girl buddy, Yuru texted me to meet up as she want to buy some of her things. it has been months since i saw that girl! wow, can you imagine that? we didnt meet up often but we still contact when either one of us want to buy something. for that, i am thankful that she still message me. thanks, girl! we meet around 9.30 in the morning for breakfast. since she said that it's been way too long since we had breakfast together. hahaha. and I've been craving for porridge for quite some time as well. we headed to KFC to have our breakfast.

looks yummy, isnt it?! haha. i chose ala carte instead of a set as i was having a sore throat and im still coughing. didnt want to drink anything hot or anything too cold in the morning. the difference in the price is only a dollar. thankfully, i brought a water bottle with me along. we spent quite some time eating breakfast together. luckily, the place is not too crowded, as it is a weekday. :) most of the content that we chat about is mainly about our internship. yup, we both went to internship this semester although we are in the different school and course. (both of us attend RP, though ^^)
next, we head off to city hall. well, that was the original plan. sit in the train and head all the way from EW1 Pasir Ris to EW13 City Hall. but halfway Yuru decided to alight at EW8 Paya Lebar and transfer to the circle line. From CC9 Paya Lebar to CC3 Esplanade. well, it's good that it is all connected and i admit, it is nearer since we just need to walk a little bit to the place which YuRu wants to survey on her bag.

the first shop we went to was Crumpler. there was a design which she was interested in. however, when she search it online, there is no more of that particular design/model. hoping that the store itself have the model she wanted, we went in to the store and to much surprise, the design is no longer on sale. we keep on walking and somehow we went to marina square. oh, yeah i spot a unique cafe in that mall. it's Teddy & Me! the cafe was super cute! i didnt have a photo of it, so sorry guys! after walking, my friend decided to enter the northface store. there's a jacket which she's been eyeing for. glad that she at least found a thing she can buy. :)
lunch time! i am still partially full and partially hungry. wait, am i making any sense here? okay, whatever la. we trained from EW13 City Hall to EW12 Bugis. one station only! we went to bugis junction and take a look at Pastamania. there's a promotion set meal but i decided to give it a miss since we are still full. decided to walk around first before we had our lunch. you guys know, there's this connection between bugis junction and bugis plus right? we walked thru that connection and ta-da! we're at Bugis Plus. hahaha. we just went up to level 4 unknowingly and stopped in front of Manhattan Fish Market. ended up eating that for our lunch. :)

lunch time was most epic of the day i guess. firstly, after considering that we take the promo set which comes with the soup of the day, we asked the waitress what is the soup? since both of us didnt really like the taste of their tomato based soup. unfortunately, the soup of the day is tomato based! just unlucky! we asked for a little more time to consider before we placed our orders. after much consideration, we still prefer the set meal as compared to the ones in the menu as it is a promotion. after placing the orders and trying the soup, we were like 'hey, the soup is not bad at all!' both of us drank until it was half full. that's not bad, right! :)
we kept on waiting for our meal to come. behind us, another pair of customer entered and they placed their order as well. their food came earlier than us! okay, we are still cool about it. next few minutes, a waitress came with a meal which neither of us had ordered. hmm, something is amiss here. turns out that they had mixed up the order. the customer which came later, their food was apparently our meal and after a while when they realise that it was a mix up, they make a deal out of it. well, hello... human makes mistake. i must salute the waiter. he was kind enough and still remain is calmness despite the mistake he made. he was cool and had admitted his mistakes about it. i dont know the full story about that so i can't elaborate it here. after our meals came, we started to dig in. it was quite fulling for both of us. well, maybe we had breakfast earlier on. haha. we went Dutch when it came to payment part. only cost SGD 17 each (plus their chargeable iced water with a slight lemon taste). we paid cash and proceed to the counter for payment. there's a bowl of mentos there when we were settling our payment. kids being kids, we grab a few of mentos. hahaha. after the payment is settled, we grabbed few more before head out and both of us were laughing idiotically.
went to Sephora for a while as i want to take a look at my lip gloss. luckily i asked around and unfortunately they stopped carrying the particular lip gloss which i have been using. went to KOI to buy our drink before we went for more window shopping

that's how i would always order my milk tea. either with pearls or sometimes w/o pearls. well, it's been a few months since i bought it. and when i want to order, the staff asked if i want to add on to the pearls. like wow, they are like GongCha now is it? pearl add on? usually it's automatically pearls, and they will just ask if you want pearl. so i just decided to go without the pearls. i am not sure if they add charges if we add on to their pearls though. but it will be more ex as compared to GongCha i think. drinking Koi, we went to Uniqlo and head back to Bugis Junction to walk around in BHG.
BHG were well renovated and their layout is not the same as the previous one. well, they had removed the arcade for sure! :( but now, it is more nice looking, more like a departmental store in a high class type of layout. i like that. ;)

look, it's Paul Frank Julius! looks cheeky, doesnt it?! hahaha! basically, we just walked around BHG, more of Bugis Junction before we trained home. i want to thank Yu Ru for asking me out. if not, i will be crying of boredom at home, with nothing to do.

cGMP, my module, organised a sch trip to Abbott Manufacturing Plant and i am lucky to be one of the 35 students to get in. thank god i reply the email quickly as only the first 35 are able to go on the trip! :) the following pictures are taken there. enjoy~
          ♥ Wednesday, December 18, 2013 / 6:24 AM {DAY 3, WEDNESDAY, 18 DEC}hello guys! i woke up around 9 plus and started cleaning my room at 10 plus. guess what time i end!!! 1.45pm! that was pretty long! yeah, kept procrastinating although i am doing my work! hahaa. it was tough cleaning my room. too many things i wanted to get rid of but i could not bear to let it go..... and every fifteen minutes or so, my nose decided to irritate me by sneezing! i know i am sensitive towards the dust but not this sensitive! after all that cleaning in my room, i touched it up by vacuuming my room and the living room. mum and i went to central, pasir ris to take her altered dress and send two of our jeans for alteration since the length is pretty long. we took bus 359 from our house and wow, the waiting time for the bus is pretty long! after sending it for alteration, we took 21 from the central bus stop and head to downtown. i didnt ate my lunch at home due to time constrain whereas mum did and thus she decided to accompany me to my favourite noodle stall located at e!hub. the store is called Yumen. i ordered seafood ban mian and green tea for my drink. it was oh-so-delicious! i dont mind eating it for a week straight! *yes, i mean it! :P * after eating, we went to Prima Deli to claimed the 10 bucks voucher my bro get from his colleague. mum spent aboout 12.80 bucks. thus we will need to top up only 2.80 bucks! :) bought a small piece of durian cake, 6 pieces of fruit tarts (came in 1 set), 6 pieces of cheese tarts (came in 1 set) and a 'pizza-like' bun. after buying, we went to ntuc outlet and mum bought some groceries from there and took 89 back home. it was only 5 but the sky looks like it was 6.30pm! gosh, it could rain anytime and when we reach home, about half an hour later, i started raining heavily. thank god we made it fast! :) alright, i shall start reading a book from wattpad and off to bed soon. turning in early since i will need to be in school by 0830 tmr! have a good night, people! :) that was how i spent my Wednesday, basically. how about you guys? had much fun? - raining here and i love the atmosphere! -Holiday Starts Nowwwwww! ♥ Tuesday, December 17, 2013 / 8:27 AM Holiday is finally here!
hey guys! my two weeks holiday have already started and today is the third day!!! :) let me share with you what i had done for the past two days~ :D
{DAY 1, Monday, 16 Dec 2013}
went out with my poly buddy, Nisha Bieber for a McD breakfast. Yes, we had McD! you know, every time we went to school, we took 902. every single time, there is at least 1 student from RP bought McD breakfast and brought it to school! me and Nisha looked at each other and said, 'let's grab those during the holidays!' and yup, after months of weeks, we managed to satisfy our cravings! :)

after we had our breakfast, we head to level 4 of Whitesands and kill time in the library. Nisha had made appointment with her friends around 1230 so i accompanied her in the library until 1135 before we bid goodbye. :)
{DAY 2, TUESDAY, 17 DEC 2013}
planned to clean my room. but, procrastination told me to procrastinate further. hahaha. went out with mum and off we go to bedok. *oh, there is a new mall called Bedok Mall!* walked towards Bedok Point. Main purpose is to eat Ayam Penyet Ria. turns out that it closed down. oh my god. i couldnt believe it. despite that, both of us went up and headed to Popeyes' to grab our lunch. and yes, our stomach are growling.

After our lunch, we walked to buy our jeans at this retail shop and move on to CK to purchase other items. Lastly, mum bought her favourite drink, Ice Cream Milk Tea from Koi. Before heading back, we decided to go in the new mall, Bedok Point. It wasn't fully build yet but we could enter the building. Just what, the Ayam Penyet Ria outlet shifted from Bedok Point to Bedok Mall! oh the irony!!!! mum wanted to take away but i suggested we go down again this Thursday with my dad since he is taking an off day. :)

trip to KL with mummy! (25-29 March 2013) ♥ Saturday, April 6, 2013 / 12:22 AM hello guys! im back! went for holiday with mum last week. we went to KL for 5D4N. i will be uploading photos as i blog. hehe. im kind of excited in blogging this post. we went for our trip from 25 March to 29 March. me and mum stick together as close as possible as this is our first time travelling alone. usually, we will go on a holiday trip with my uncle and his family. this time, my mum wanted to try something new and wanted to explore KL with me alone. well, both my dad and bro are unable to make it as they are busy with work and NS respectively. and, sorry for the late post! been busy lately! :) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DAY 1 (25 MARCH 2013, MONDAY)  so,we took a bus (StarMart Express) to KL which cost only SGD55/person (to and fro). i think this is a good price. as posted in the picture above, you can see that the chair is comfortable as it is big. it comes with a massage chair with a control by its side. we are able to control it if we want to use the massage function. the function are : on, off, auto, full. not only that, we are able to adjust the seat to the extend that we are able to lie down for our comfort and adjust the bottom part to rest our feet. (well, i would say calf instead :D ) since we board the bus at beach road (golden mile), the journey from that place to KL took at least 6 hours. it will depends on the custom jam at the tuas checkpoint as well as Malaysia checkpoint and also the driver's speed. when going to KL, there is only 7 people including me and mum who board the bus. by rights, our bus timing was 0900 but we arrived around 0805 and the kind lady gave us an early bus instead. so we took the 0830 bus. fearing i would get bus sick, i listen to the songs in my iPod. thank god, i did not vomit on my journey there, as well as when coming back. the bus alight us in front of Berjaya Times Square. we reached there around 0220  truth be told, we had a hard time finding our hotel as it is our first time there. so, we asked around and finally managed to find our hotel. we chose Federal Hotel. it was near Times Square. well, i would say, walk-able distance. :) mum booked online so it would cost us SGD 409 for 5D4N without breakfast. the price includes hotel taxes. we booked it from Agoda. for those who would like to book hotel online, i would strongly encourage you guys to use Agoda as it the final price includes hotel taxes and everything. you will not have to pay any additional charges when checking out. (that's what happen to me and mum :D ) we took superior room with two separate beds as seen in the picture above. for Federal, there are smoking and non-smoking floor. since me and mum don't smoke, we took the non-smoking floor. :) you can ask for the non-smoking floor while checking in. after entering our room and unpacking our clothes, we took a quick rest before heading out to grab our lunch.

 we head down to the lobby and ask the person there for direction to the Pavilion. it was said that a lot of artists in Malaysia went there for shopping. to the mall, it took us around 5-10 minutes walk. it was near and we just need to walk straight ahead to reach to the mall. see, federal is accessible and convenient for us to go to the shopping malls. along the way, there are BB plaza, H&M, Uniqlo, Sephora as we walked towards Pavilion. finally after some walking, we reached the mall. we tried to find either Guardian or Watson to purchase our toiletries which is mainly toothpaste, toothbrush and cotton wool(for mum). after purchasing that, we headed to the restaurant Madam Kwan's. Orders:
the food tastes so good and it costs RM 64 which is about SGD 26. quite affordable right, to eat at a restaurant. oh, before entering the restaurant, we bough puffs at Bread Papa's. mum bought durian puffs while i chose chocolate! :) no offence but i dont eat durian. :) after eating, we went out of the mall and went into Sephora then to Uniqlo and the BB plaza before heading back to hotel. i bought my friends some souvenir at BB plaza. spend the night in the hotel room and i use wifi. :) will need to ask the receptionist for the username and the password for us to enjoy the hotel's wifi. also, in a room they will only allow one device to use wifi. if the other devices want to use it too, we will need to logout of the current device. annoying right... hahah.  so we are hungry and went to plaza low yat which is a walking distance to our hotel. bought 2 pieces of doughnuts from big apple(meant for the next day's breakfast), grapefruit green tea from Gongcha and 2 chicken kebabs. :) yummy! :D DAY 2 (26 MARCH 2013, TUESDAY)  after a good night sleep and had the doughnuts, we head out. upon reaching the hotel's lobby, mum asked one of the crews some direction. following the crew's direction, we arrived to our destination which is Kenanga Wholesale City. (KWC) from our hotel to the mall, it took us about twenty minutes to reach there by foot. tiring but well, it's an experience! :) since some of the roads are still undergoing constructions, we asked for directions again to see which route is shorter. we reached the mall 5 minutes to 10am. so as we entered the mall, some of the shops are just starting to open it. well, it's 10am. haha. so both of us went for a tour in the mall and wow, there are so many stores in that mall! one thing i dont like about KWC is that the more you buy, the cheaper it will be. well, this is definitely a good deal for those who ran a clothing shop but for me and mum, not really good as we aare required to buy 6 set of the same design in order to get a cheaper price. for an example, 1 piece costs RM35 but if you buy 6 sets in total, it will be about 20-25RM each. see, the bargain is totally good but i am not going to wear the same design of clothes with different colour right? haha. so, maybe if you were to visit this mall, it will be best if you were to go it together with a group of friends. on a lighter note, one shop in KWC allow you to buy clothes of 6 sets with different design to get a lower price. :) it is located at level 5 and the boss is a chinese male (super friendly!) after some shopping, we are hungry and we hunt for food! as shown in the picture above, from MJ (yeah, that's the stall name!) nice right?! for dinner, we went to plaza low fat for a dessert at coffee bean tea leaf! :)
Day 3 (27 MARCH 2013, WEDNESDAY)   woke up, left the hotel for breakfast at Times Sq. the mall is not open yet but there are some food shops at the level 1 which is somewhat outside the mall. so, we decided to went in Rasa Utara. Orders:
nice! really!!! :) hahah. a lot of artist have come there before and they had their photos up in the gallery. for instance, KRU! so, after breakfast, we head back to the hotel which as it is still very early. around 9plus(close to 10), we headed out again. we walked up further away from the hotel to get a cab. mum wanted to go to Masjid India. we managed to get into a cab with a friendly driver. he uses meter and the trip to the destination is RM8. as for the picture above, it is just some attractive buildings i saw while the cab drove by the area. :) upon reaching masjid india, we attack mydin first. hahaha. been years since we went there. we bought some brouches, perfumes and facial related foams. after that, we walked to the alley and found several clothing shops along the streets. mum bought her juba there with just RM 50! mum asked around where the SOGO is. found our way there and we saw the monorail! hahaa. in sogo, we bought some fries and bread from four leaves (for breakfast the next day)  isnt it cool? hahaha. the trip from there to imbi costs RM5.80 for two people. the chip is too cool! haha. comparing the seats in the monorail to Singapore MRT, i got to say, Singapore's MRT is way better. as it has more seats, seats dedicated to the people in needs and the space is quite spacious as well. (although we still complain! hahah)    Day 4 (28 MARCH 2013, THURSDAY)  had bread from four leaves for breakfast and we head out to KWC again to buy my clothes again since i feel comfortable wearing it. :) hehe. from there, we took cab to Pavilion for lunch! :) Manhattan Fish Market for lunch! yummeh! :) hehe.  went to times square again and bought sour sweets there(from the picture above), for the bus ride the next day in case we both are giddy. haha. while walking, mum spot a dessert shop and decided to have a tea break there. she had sago with durian. (eww, i hate durian) hahahaha.  at night, went down and walked further down the hotel for foot reflexology. it is called Best Friends. had a good massage there. came back to the hotel and mum walked towards the cake shop in the hotel which is located near the hotel restaurant and realised that cakes are sold 50% from 6pm onwards! (great deal, isnt it?!) and we realised it the day before we are about to head back home! the cake tastes oh-so-delicious! :D Day 5 (29 MARCH 2013, FRIDAY)  had Rasa Utara for breakfast, again. since it is nice, we decided to come back to the shop and support them. LOL. mum ordered the same, Nasi Lemak With Daging Rendang and i ordered Mee Goreng with Egg. both set meals comes with hot teh tarik or tea. (we chose teh tarik) went back after breakfast and start packing up. around 1155, we went down to check out and spent about an hour in the lobby to waste time. hahaha. after that, we head down to times sq for lunch. me and mum shared one subway bread and takeaway another bread. and bought cookies for my brother! :)  around 2plus, we went to Krispy Kreme to eat two doughnuts before heading back to SG. :) it was raining that time too! and basically, that ends my 5D4N trip to KL! i can safely say i enjoy my trip there! :)
