HEY GUYS! I AM FINALLY BACK AFTER A LONG HIATUS! SORRY FOR THAT. BEEN BUSY WITH INTERNSHIP! :) NOW IM FREE UNTIL SEPT-OCT. :)
few weeks back, my best girl buddy, Yuru texted me to meet up as she want to buy some of her things. it has been months since i saw that girl! wow, can you imagine that? we didnt meet up often but we still contact when either one of us want to buy something. for that, i am thankful that she still message me. thanks, girl!
we meet around 9.30 in the morning for breakfast. since she said that it's been way too long since we had breakfast together. hahaha. and I've been craving for porridge for quite some time as well. we headed to KFC to have our breakfast.

looks yummy, isnt it?! haha. i chose ala carte instead of a set as i was having a sore throat and im still coughing. didnt want to drink anything hot or anything too cold in the morning. the difference in the price is only a dollar. thankfully, i brought a water bottle with me along. we spent quite some time eating breakfast together. luckily, the place is not too crowded, as it is a weekday. :) most of the content that we chat about is mainly about our internship. yup, we both went to internship this semester although we are in the different school and course. (both of us attend RP, though ^^)
next, we head off to city hall. well, that was the original plan. sit in the train and head all the way from EW1 Pasir Ris to EW13 City Hall. but halfway Yuru decided to alight at EW8 Paya Lebar and transfer to the circle line. From CC9 Paya Lebar to CC3 Esplanade. well, it's good that it is all connected and i admit, it is nearer since we just need to walk a little bit to the place which YuRu wants to survey on her bag.

the first shop we went to was Crumpler. there was a design which she was interested in. however, when she search it online, there is no more of that particular design/model. hoping that the store itself have the model she wanted, we went in to the store and to much surprise, the design is no longer on sale. we keep on walking and somehow we went to marina square. oh, yeah i spot a unique cafe in that mall. it's Teddy & Me! the cafe was super cute! i didnt have a photo of it, so sorry guys! after walking, my friend decided to enter the northface store. there's a jacket which she's been eyeing for. glad that she at least found a thing she can buy. :)
lunch time! i am still partially full and partially hungry. wait, am i making any sense here? okay, whatever la. we trained from EW13 City Hall to EW12 Bugis. one station only! we went to bugis junction and take a look at Pastamania. there's a promotion set meal but i decided to give it a miss since we are still full. decided to walk around first before we had our lunch. you guys know, there's this connection between bugis junction and bugis plus right? we walked thru that connection and ta-da! we're at Bugis Plus. hahaha. we just went up to level 4 unknowingly and stopped in front of Manhattan Fish Market. ended up eating that for our lunch. :)

lunch time was most epic of the day i guess. firstly, after considering that we take the promo set which comes with the soup of the day, we asked the waitress what is the soup? since both of us didnt really like the taste of their tomato based soup. unfortunately, the soup of the day is tomato based! just unlucky! we asked for a little more time to consider before we placed our orders. after much consideration, we still prefer the set meal as compared to the ones in the menu as it is a promotion. after placing the orders and trying the soup, we were like 'hey, the soup is not bad at all!' both of us drank until it was half full. that's not bad, right! :)
we kept on waiting for our meal to come. behind us, another pair of customer entered and they placed their order as well. their food came earlier than us! okay, we are still cool about it. next few minutes, a waitress came with a meal which neither of us had ordered. hmm, something is amiss here. turns out that they had mixed up the order. the customer which came later, their food was apparently our meal and after a while when they realise that it was a mix up, they make a deal out of it. well, hello... human makes mistake. i must salute the waiter. he was kind enough and still remain is calmness despite the mistake he made. he was cool and had admitted his mistakes about it. i dont know the full story about that so i can't elaborate it here. after our meals came, we started to dig in. it was quite fulling for both of us. well, maybe we had breakfast earlier on. haha. we went Dutch when it came to payment part. only cost SGD 17 each (plus their chargeable iced water with a slight lemon taste). we paid cash and proceed to the counter for payment. there's a bowl of mentos there when we were settling our payment. kids being kids, we grab a few of mentos. hahaha. after the payment is settled, we grabbed few more before head out and both of us were laughing idiotically.
went to Sephora for a while as i want to take a look at my lip gloss. luckily i asked around and unfortunately they stopped carrying the particular lip gloss which i have been using. went to KOI to buy our drink before we went for more window shopping

that's how i would always order my milk tea. either with pearls or sometimes w/o pearls. well, it's been a few months since i bought it. and when i want to order, the staff asked if i want to add on to the pearls. like wow, they are like GongCha now is it? pearl add on? usually it's automatically pearls, and they will just ask if you want pearl. so i just decided to go without the pearls. i am not sure if they add charges if we add on to their pearls though. but it will be more ex as compared to GongCha i think. drinking Koi, we went to Uniqlo and head back to Bugis Junction to walk around in BHG.
BHG were well renovated and their layout is not the same as the previous one. well, they had removed the arcade for sure! :( but now, it is more nice looking, more like a departmental store in a high class type of layout. i like that. ;)

look, it's Paul Frank Julius! looks cheeky, doesnt it?! hahaha! basically, we just walked around BHG, more of Bugis Junction before we trained home. i want to thank Yu Ru for asking me out. if not, i will be crying of boredom at home, with nothing to do.
